CPCB Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process can vary according to the post and number of applications received.

For posts where CPCB has prescribed a skill test, candidates must qualify that stage.

Contract Period & Important Conditions
This recruitment is purely contractual and is not a regular CPCB job. The initial contract is for one year, which may be extended based on performance and project requirements.
The posts are under the SER-Phase-III Project, funded by NMCG under the Namami Gange Programme. The project is funded up to 6 May 2028, subject to further extension.
No claim for permanent appointment or regularisation in CPCB will be allowed.
