The PwBD vacancies are horizontal reservations within the overall vacancies. In the General stream, two PwBD positions are identified for Blindness and Low Vision and Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Educational Qualification
The required qualification depends on the stream selected by the candidate.
:-General: Master’s Degree/2-year PG Diploma in any discipline, Law/Engineering degree, or professional qualifications such as CA, CS, CMA or CFA.
:-Research: Master’s Degree/2-year PG Diploma in specified fields such as Economics, Commerce, Finance, Statistics, Data Science, AI/ML and related subjects. Mathematics PG with a 1-year Statistics diploma is also eligible.
:-Actuary: Graduation plus pass/exemption in all 7 Core Principles subjects of the Institute of Actuaries of India.
:-Official Language (Rajbhasha): Relevant Master’s Degree in Hindi/Hindi Translation, Sanskrit, English, Economics or Commerce with the required Hindi/English combination.
:-Computer Knowledge:
Candidates should be familiar with MS Office, including Word and Excel.

Probation Period
Selected Officer Grade A candidates will be placed on two years of probation.
Confirmation will depend on satisfactory performance during probation and verification of character and antecedents.
Job Location
PFRDA currently has offices in New Delhi and Mumbai. Candidates selected through this recruitment may be posted at either office.
However, the notification clearly states that officers can also be required to serve anywhere in India, depending on the Authority’s requirements.
Pre-Examination Training
PFRDA will arrange free online pre-examination training for eligible SC, ST, PwBD and OBC-NCL candidates.
Candidates who want to use this facility have to apply separately by email along with the required caste/income-and-asset/disability certificate details, on or before the last date of online application. The training will be conducted online and information will be sent through email.
